Rob nosse believes in

HEALTH CARE

As the Chair of the House Committee on Behavioral Health & Health Care, Rob Nosse prioritizes expanding access to health care services and making care more affordable. Rob is one of the most vocal advocates in the legislature for universal health care.

He also cares deeply about our state's Medicaid system, and led a workgroup that resulted in over twenty bills being introduced in the 2025 legislative session designed to strengthen our Medicaid Program which we also call the Oregon Health Plan(OHP). In 2025, Rob helped pass HB 2010 to protect OHP funding in light of Donald Trump's Medicaid chaos.

Rob took on Big Pharma, championing HB 2385 to protect access to prescription drugs for vulnerable Oregonians and rein in unfair contracting practices. Rob also helped pass Senate Bill 951, creating the strongest corporate practice of medicine laws in the country.

Lastly, Rob had a hand in passing SB 630, eliminating medical debt from credit reports.

That's what Rob is all about: Standing up to powerful interests to pass meaningful legislation that helps help families but especially poor and working families.
